Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the AURA website (the “Site”) collects and how it is used. The Site is a demonstration / portfolio project; it sells nothing and charges nothing. We aim to collect as little information as possible.

• Contact details you choose to provide — an email address and/or phone number if you use the sign-up prompt, and your name, email, and message if you use the contact form.
• On-device preferences — your bag, saved favourites, and sign-up state are stored locally in your browser (localStorage) so they persist between visits. This data stays on your device.
• Basic technical data — like most websites, our host may process standard server/log information (such as IP address and browser type) to serve and secure the Site.

We use the limited information above only to:

• respond to messages you send us;
• remember your bag, favourites, and preferences on your device;
• operate, secure, and improve the Site.

We do not sell your information. Because this is a demonstration site, submitted contact details are not used for marketing unless you are separately and explicitly told otherwise.

The Site uses browser localStorage (not advertising cookies) to keep your bag, favourites, and sign-up/dismissal state. You can clear this at any time through your browser settings; doing so will reset those preferences.

• Hosting — the Site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard request/log data to deliver the Site.
• Optional AI try-on — if the virtual try-on feature is enabled, an image you upload is sent to a third-party AI provider (e.g. fal.ai or Replicate) to generate the preview. Uploaded images are not stored by us. When the feature runs in demo mode, no image leaves your browser.

On-device data remains until you clear your browser storage. Any message you send us is kept only as long as needed to respond. We do not build long-term profiles of visitors.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to its processing. To make a request, use the contact link in the site footer. You can remove on-device data yourself at any time by clearing your browser storage.

The Site is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We may update this policy; changes take effect when posted here with a new “last updated” date. For any privacy question or request, reach us via the contact link in the site footer.
